WINNING Ways lived up to his name with a glowing performance on Friday night at Ascot.
The Lope De Vega colt, owned by Paul Makin, was third at Newbury on his turf return last month.
He built on that with a taking display for jockey John Egan in a seven-furlong handicap.
Trainer Jeremy Noseda’s charge took up the running with a quarter of a mile to go.
He wandered around a little bit when clear on the front but the outcome was never in dount.
Winning Ways had almost four lengths in hand on hitting the line and showed that he is a very progressive horse.
