Gotti on top at Windsor

The More Than Ready colt significantly progressed from his first run at Brighton with a power-packed late blast to score by a head.

The Jeremy Noseda-trained 3/1 shot was held up in the early stages by jockey Gerald Mosse, who timed his challenge to perfection.

Gotti made good headway on the outer and sustained his challenge to get up late on, collaring the favourite Indian Warrior for victory by a head.

It was Shalfleet’s second two-year-old triumph in just over 24 hours and underlined that the horses are in great form.
