Jeremy Noseda has enjoyed a very successful career that has seen him play a key role in the lives of a host of top horses.
Learning from the very best in John Dunlop and John Gosden, he was integral to the set-up of HH Sheikh Mohammed’s glittering Godolphin operation. Jeremy was closely involved in the training of stars such as Balanchine, Lammtarra, Halling and So Factual, among many others.
His own training career began in California where he enjoyed high-profile Grade victories before launching from Shalfleet, in Newmarket, at the start of 1998. His first runner, Nautical Warning, yielded a winner and that victory set the tone for an operation that has gone on to many secure big-race triumphs in Britain and beyond.
Talk to many of Jeremy’s owners and they will tell you that he is an exceptional racehorse trainer. Most of his staff would say the same. Their answers will be very consistent when detailing his character. They will mention his drive, his appetite for hard work and his desire to win. Those qualities are a large part of the reason why he has been so successful since becoming a UK-based racehorse trainer in 1998. In short, his strong-looking CV is down to more than just good fortune. Jeremy doesn’t rely on chance when it comes to getting the very best results for his clients.
Coming from a non-racing background, he has worked his way up towards near the summit of European horseracing. He can point to Classic winners that he has trained – Araafa and Sixties Icon. Among a host of other top-class horses that his skills have produced are Wannabe Grand, Wilko, Soldier’s Tale, Proclamation and Fleeting Spirit; the last two being champions of their generation at their respective distances.
